Where in the World are AE Students?

Summer Vacation by Mary Ann Hoberman

In my head I hear a humming:
Summer, summer summer’s coming.
Soon we’re going on vacation
But there is a complication:
Day by day the problem’s growing-
We don’t know yet where we’re going!

Mother likes the country best;
That’s so she can read and rest.
Dad thinks resting is a bore;
He’s for fishing at the shore.
Sailing is my brother’s pick;
Sailing makes my sister sick;
She says swimming’s much more cool,
Swimming in a swimming pool.
As for me, why, I don’t care,
I’d be happy anywhere!

Dear Amelia Students, Parents, Staff and Community Members,

 I came across the above poem and began thinking about summer vacation.  I am interested in hearing all of the great things that you are planning on doing during the next few months. Are you going camping, hiking or fishing, spending a day at Kings Island, visiting grandma or grandpa or hanging out at the pool?  Reply to this post and share your summer plans… I can’t wait to hear of your adventures!

 Happy blogging,   🙂

    We just got home from a family vacation in Cancun, Mexico. We were there for our neice, Ms. Reed’s wedding. Lots of family fun and relaxing on the beach.

  4. I just spent 2 fun weeks in California, and then 4 days in St. Louis. What a fun time.

    • Drake,
      Wow, I have always wanted to go to California. Did you get to go up in the arch while you were in St. Louis? I can’t wait to hear all about your vacation.
